SEEING ME, SEEING YOU

Life drawing and modelling workshops for women. Learn how to draw with joy and how to be seen in your naked splendour!

A woman in a red kimono with gold embroidery stands on a rug in an attic room with sloped ceiling, helping an elderly woman put on slippers. Sunlight streams through skylight and window.
Three black-and-white ink sketches of seated women on a yellow couch, surrounded by stationery and art supplies.
People sitting on a wooden floor with sketchbooks, drawing supplies, and artwork, engaged in an art session or class.

For absolute beginners and experienced artists alike.

In this workshop you learn basic drawing skills and you get the chance to swap sides and be the life-drawing model for one of the sittings.

We use different mediums like charcoal, ink, pencil or pastels and we work on the “I can’t draw” blockage, using tricks of the trade to emphasise fun and curiosity whilst dissolving judgement and expectations.

On a deeper and more transformational level this course offers you the opportunity to be seen as the model during one of the drawing sessions. This part is all about body positivity, self acceptance and testing the boundaries of our (often negative) self-beliefs. Any amount of stripping off you are comfortable with is welcomed, even if it is just a shoulder. Full nakedness is optional.

The group is women only.
